Gigers work in its many applications seems to maintain its bizare and dark refernces to the body and sex and its connection to aggressive actions and forms. Gigers apparent obsession with these themes are as dark as the images themselves and it is something which he communicates with authority, forcing the viewer to ask the questions in themselves. The use of his imagery in the Alien movies is something which I still find genuinely spooky because of the human like appearance of the aliens and the idea that they are an extension/improvement on our inferior physical form. I love and hate his images.
